Its very difficult and quite involved. All I can tell you is be patient and take your time. A 90 is different than a 89 .Wiring will not match up so be prepared to change that also.

you must remove the steering column and dash board and disconnect the a/c and heater hoses from the firewall. it might help if you remove the upper intake to provide you easier access/but the dash has to be completely removed. hope this is helpful

Transmission error
The computer has set a code that will have to do with the electronic throttle system. Have it checked for codes with a scanner.
Once you remove the dash plastic surround, you will find two bolts that hold the column up into the dash. As you loosen these bolts, the column will drop into your lap. I hope this helps you. Mark

Up under the dash, drivers side by the steering column, remove the black plastic clip, pull the ECU from the sleeve, remove the bolt that holds the wiring in and then remove. Don't forget to disconnect the battery first.
