# Remove rubber radiator overflow hose from radiator coolant recovery reservoir and disconnect it from radiator. # Remove fan shroud attaching bolts. # Lift fan shroud back and drape it on fan. # Loosen upper and lower hose clamps at radiator and remove upper radiator hose and lower radiator from connectors. # Disconnect two automatic transmission oil cooling lines from radiator fittings, if equipped. # On models equipped with E4OD transmission, disconnect heated water bypass hose attached to lower tank. # Remove four radiator attaching bolts. # Tilt radiator back about one inch and lift upward, clear of radiator support. # Lift fan shroud off of fan and remove from vehicle. # Reverse procedure to install.

You probably mean a Ford E150 van. On my 1994 E150, the thermostat is behind the air cleaner. Remove the aircleaner assembly. Remove the air hoses that go to the throttle body.
