The spare tire is under the bed of the truck, as you already know. You will need the handle for the factory jack. There should be a hole in the rear bumper. Slide the jack and the extention handle through the hole. You should be able to spin the handle and lower the spare tire to the ground. Make sure the give yourself enough slack to get the holder out from inside the spare tire rim.
