To remove a stripped rear end drain plug, first, try using a rubber band or a piece of cloth to increase friction when turning the plug with a wrench. If that doesn't work, you can use a stripped screw extractor kit, which involves drilling a small hole in the center of the plug and then screwing in the extractor to grip and turn it out. Alternatively, you can use pliers or vise grips if there’s enough exposed metal to grip. If these methods fail, you may need to drill out the plug and tap the hole for a larger plug.
