You don't mention, but this should do all Navigator years.
Make your life easier:
Remove battery completely.
Remove battery tray.
Must do:
Remove windshield washer reservoir. Two fluid lines, two electrical connectors.
MARK THE LINES! One is for the front window, the other is for the rear. You CAN get them backwards, which is just plain annoying.
Press red collar around air line connection into the air dryer (big black cylinder)
Be nice, it shouldn't be hard, and it's easily broken
Gently but firmly pull out the air line, if it doesn't come out easy, try pushing it in a little first to break the seal.
Undo the 3 bolts holding the entire compressor and bracket in.
Carefully unplug the harness.
Carefully "Work" it out. It won't come straight out, it needs to twist or rotate a bit.
Be careful not to damage your Air Conditioning hoses/lines.

Remove the drive belt from the air conditioner compressor. Remove the air conditioning hoses from the compressor. Remove the retaining bolts from the air conditioner compressor.
You must first remove the windshield washer fluid resivour, and the pump is under a plastic panel.
Remove the Freon from the compressor. Remove the air conditioning hoses. Remove the compressor belt. Remove the compressor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new air conditioner compressor.
Under the window washer tank
Remove the air conditioning hoses from your 1997 Chevy Malibu air conditioning compressor. Remove the compressor belt. Remove the compressor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new air conditioning compressor.
.You can remove the air conditioner compressor, from your Oldsmobile automobile, by removing the compressor belt. Remove the air conditioning Freon. Remove the Freon lines. Remove the retaining bolts
On the frame below the passenger side headlight
You will need to remove all of the Freon from your air conditioning system. Remove the air conditioning hoses. Remove the compressor belt. Remove the compressor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new air conditioner compressor.
Remove the belt from your Mercedes-Benz 240 air conditioning compressor. Remove the air conditioning hoses. Remove the compressor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new air conditioning compressor.
Only one air compressor is used on a 2003 Licoln Navigator and it is located on the front right hand side of the engine compartment
