unscrew the bolts and take the seat out
To remove the rear seat from a 2007 Cadillac DTS Sedan, start by locating the release mechanisms at the front of the seat bottom; pull up on the levers or tabs to detach it. Once the seat bottom is removed, you can access the rear seat back. Look for bolts or fasteners securing the seat back to the frame, usually located at the bottom or sides, and remove them. Finally, lift the seat back upward to detach it from the vehicle.

The "DTS" as in Cadillac DTS stands for DeVille Touring Sedan. The Cadillac DTS replaced the Cadillac DeVille. The Cadillac DTS was first produced in 2005.
Cadillac DTS was created in 2005.
You have to do it from the inside of the trunk.
To my knowledge, Cadillac will not be producing the Cadillac DTS for the year 2012. The Cadillac DTS will be replaced for the 2012 year with the Cadillac XTS. Hope this helps!
In a 2006 Cadillac DTS, the fuse for the lighter is located in the fuse box under the rear seat. To access it, you'll need to remove the rear seat cushion, which can be done by lifting it up to expose the fuse panel. Look for the fuse labeled "CIG" or "Lighter" in the diagram on the fuse box cover. If the fuse is blown, replacing it should restore functionality to the lighter.
