To remove the mirror switch from the door panel on a 1996 Ram 1500, first, disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off any decorative trim covering the switch. Then, remove the screws securing the switch assembly, and carefully pull it out from the panel. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness attached to the back of the switch to fully remove it.
