To remove the center console from a 2008 Cadillac STS, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable for safety. Next, remove any screws or bolts securing the console, typically found in the storage compartment and under the armrest. Carefully pry off any trim pieces around the console, then gently pull the console upwards and out, disconnecting any electrical connectors as needed. Ensure you follow these steps methodically to avoid damaging any components.

The charger port on a 2008 Pontiac Torrent is located inside the center console. You can find it by lifting the cover of the center armrest compartment. Additionally, there may be a 12V power outlet available on the dashboard or in the front console area for charging devices.
My 2008 Impreza Outback Sport has one. It's in the center console, at the bottom.
