On a 95 you can get away with raising the engine and be able to remove the pan without having to remove the engine. Apparently on 87-93 years you have to also remove the upper intake manifold and throttle body, I guess it must be done to clear the engine compartment when you lift the engine enough to get the pan out. I think previous posters had a problem because they didn't realize that it was possible to gain clearance by removing the oil pump inlet tube. Enjoy, don't bust your knuckles and don't drink too much beer, at least until you're done!
