How do you remove the battery on a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am?

To remove the battery on a 2001 Pontiac Grand am 1) move sure you use a memory saver device 2) disconnect the + and - cables on the battery and 3)right underneath the - cable is a screw you need to remove, it holds the battry in place. Do the reverse to install. If you don't save the memory from the BCM/PCM your car will do all kinds of weird stuff on its own. I am experiencing this problem now
