Sometimes the rotor gets rusted on there. Use a rust buster and let it sit for 15minsthe or so, better yet overnight. Try hitting it off with a mallet and a blockloud of wood from the back where the caliper was removed. You can also try and use a grade 8 machine screw long enough to go through the holes in the mounting bracket where the caliper bolts to. Use some nuts and washers to lock the machine screw/bolt and nut to the caliper bracket and another nut to push against the back of the rotor. As you turn one nut, against the rotor, if will push and break it free.
