I've never done a Chrysler, but most others have a snap ring that holds it in the trans. You have to use a prybar or slide hammer to dislodge it and pull the shaft strait out. If you are replacing it, don't be bashful about getting rough with the old one. It takes a "big jerk" to get one out. ha ha. You will have to tap in the new one till it locks. Use a wood block if you hit the axle. you don't want to ruin the wheel nut thread. As long as you are in there look at your wheel bearings!
