How do you remove the door panel on a 1984 Chevy Pickup?

First, you have to remove the screws that are located around the edge of the panel. There are also two screws on the arm rest, don't forget those. Then, remove the window crank. There's a little c-clip holding it on; if you push the door panel in and look down between the crank and the panel, you should be able to see it. It's easier with the window rolled down. I use a bent screwdriver to remove this clip. If you lose the clip, they can be found at any parts store for about ten cents. Once all the screws are removed and the window crank is off, pry the panel out and up (it will 'hinge' on the upper edge). Push up to pop the top edge out of the holding clips.
