Remove inner door panel for access
You have to remove the door panel. Then it's pretty much self-explanatory.

Remove the inside door panel from your 1994 Chevrolet. Remove the linkage from the door handle. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.
* Disconnect the negative battery cable * At the bottomof the door panel remove the two screws * Pry up at the front edge of the power window switch pod and lift it out then unplug the electrical connector * Remove the inside door handle escutcheon * Remove the screw in the door pull pocket * Pull the door panel away from the door far enough to disconnect the electrical connectors
If it's a Sunbird Le, I don't think you can. My seats don't fold down.
depending on model the 94-98-99 old body you have to release late assembly on the side and the remove panel to then remove both screws that hold it to the door and pull out. on the 00 up you can just remove panel and remove screws that hold it to the door.

You gotta break the big pockets off of the door. I had to totally take it off to get speakers in.- OR - you remove the interior panel from the whole door, not breaking anything, unscrew the speakers, mount new ones, replace door panel-to remove the panel you will need to pull the c-clip from the back of the window lever, and unscrew the arm rest, and the door handle, then go around the edge snapping out all the pressure clips (will go back in unless you twist them off), then simply pull the door panel up and off (make sure to guide the door handle through the door panel as it is not removable)
Yes they are more than likely the same. They look the same on my 2 and 4 door 94 Cavaliers. You might also find that the fenders from the Pontiac Sunbird also fit as well.
I believe that the fuel pump for the 94 Pontiac sunbird is in the gas tank.
