i have a 1998 ford Triton f 150 how do i remove the exhaust manifold right side
Remove the plastic cover from the puma handbrake. There is an adjustment nut under the cover that tightens up the brake.
Ford Puma was created in 1997.
YOu pull on it until it comes of or with a screwdriver.

Remove intake & exhaust manifold, then remove head. Requires knowledge and skill.
To remove the exhaust pipe from the manifold on a Ford Expedition, start by ensuring the vehicle is cool and safely lifted. Disconnect any hangers or brackets securing the exhaust pipe, and then use a socket wrench to remove the bolts connecting the exhaust pipe to the manifold. If the bolts are rusted or stuck, apply penetrating oil and allow it to soak before attempting to remove them. Carefully pull the exhaust pipe away from the manifold once the bolts are removed.

You have too remove the exhaust pipe under neighth engine,then remove alternator,then back exhaust manifold. ( it helps too lower crossmember under steering rack too get too exhaust bolts) Then you remove rt axle and rear drive shaft from transfercase. Now you can remove the transfercase!
The Ford puma thermostat housing is on the side of the engine, with two hoses connected to it. Be sure to replace the gasket when installing the housing.
