Hi
The 3.5L has a tapered shaft, you MUST use a balancer puller or you will damage the pulley. These pullers are under $30 bucks
Yes.
Harmonic balancer is bad and will need to be replaced.
with a three jaw puller
yes when its broken!
To remove the harmonic balancer on a 1990 Dodge Dynasty with a 3.3L engine, first disconnect the negative battery terminal and drain the coolant. Remove the serpentine belt and the crankshaft pulley if necessary. Use a harmonic balancer puller to carefully extract the balancer from the crankshaft, ensuring that you follow the tool's instructions for proper use. Finally, inspect the balancer and crankshaft for any damage before installing a new balancer.
loosen the center bolt and get your self a harmonic balancer puller just make sure you loosen the center bolt enough but not too much but you need a balancer puller.
