After removing screws from the back side of the wheel and removing the center cover (there are probably some wires to disconnect also), you can then remove the nut holding the wheel to the column shaft and attach a steering wheel or gear puller to remove the wheel.
You have to remove the fuel tank.
To change the ignition switch on a 1987 Dodge B350 Van, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the steering column covers by taking out the screws and gently pulling them apart. Next, locate the ignition switch, detach the wiring harness, and unscrew the switch from its mounting. Finally, install the new ignition switch, reattach the wiring, and reassemble the steering column covers before reconnecting the battery.
Not a definitive answer for your question, but according to the title for my 1988 B350, my van's scale weight is 4176.
