Hi. I am looking into this aswell, and so far I've noticed that there is a screw in the back of the stereo, however I see no means of unscrewing it. I however have noticed the four holes in front which look like there are needed screws in there to remove it. I personally would experiment with that a bit since you are going to remove the stereo .... or do as I, buy the manual from Haynes.
(oh, and btw, I got the same car :)
Good luck.
AnswerThe four holes in the front fit an Allen key- small one. so wind them out about 12 turns to start but not all the way as they will fall out the back of the radio facia and find themselves some where between your feet, the carpet or into the center of the dash. Once they are loose then continue 3 - 4 turns each screw until on side then the other becomes free. pull the radio straight out. The screw in the rear if i remember right will come out with the caddy surrounding the radio Answerthe four screws do not actually hold the radio in but do need to be removed to extract the radio , once the screws have been removed you need special tools to insert into the fours holes all at the same time to release the clips holding the radio in. if you do not have these tools you can try four "welding rod" sized peices of metal. Answerok remove the 4 screws from the front of the stereo, then place stereo removal tools into the holes and pull the stereo out. you are then left with a black metal cage in the car. look into the cage and you will see an 8mm bolt which you need to unscrew. pull the black metal cage out and disconnect the iso block on the left and the aerial plug on the right.job done you can now fit your more popular stereo. From sergio@technomend.com

To remove the factory stereo in a 1998 Buick Regal, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical issues. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry off the trim panel surrounding the stereo, which may be held in place by clips. Once the trim is removed, unscrew the mounting screws securing the stereo, then gently pull it out from the dashboard. Finally, disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the stereo to fully remove it.
The fuel tank capacity of a 1998 Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 12v Envoy is approximately 45 liters, which is about 11.9 gallons. To fill it up, you would need to add fuel until the tank reaches this capacity, depending on how much fuel is already in the tank. If it's empty, you would need around 11.9 gallons of petrol to fill it completely.
