If I remember correctly without seeing the car, there are a half dozen or more nuts that retain the assy. .You'll need to remove a felt protective trim panal on the inside of the trunk. That panel may have a couple finger tightened threaded nuts or push pins that hold it in place. Once that is remove, youll see quite a few retaining nuts that have to be removed, and then the whole light assy comes out.
