Raise wagon rear door hatch open. Grasp from the top edge the plastic molding around the glass and pull, but don't pull completely away. Be careful around the wiper motor housing and the pigtail for the window defrost. On the metal part of the window frame is a rubber plug in the center, pop this out to loosen and remove the top 10mm nut. The remaining(3) 10mm nuts are accessed thru openings in the metal window frame once the plastic molding is pulled back. Once you have all(4) nuts removed carefully push but don't connect plastic molding back towards frame so that you can lower and and close the rear hatch. Now you can remove the 3rd brake light housing from the outside and twist and remove light socket plug ins. Most Ford's use a L22 bulb. Double check your work, then install and tighten (4) 10mm nuts.
