My 94 Tempo's Driver window died, there are two main likelinesses. I believe telling the difference is as follows. If your window moves "somewhat freely" using your hands but the motor sound still goes, it is off the track and you need to take the door apart. If the motor is silent it is likely dead (that in combo with it still being on track ) and you need to take apart the door...to replace a motor.
First test to see if the problem is the switch, wiring, or the motor. Here's howhttp://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/repair-topics/window-power-repair/test-power-window-motor-and-regulatorThen replace the regulator if the switch and wiring test good. Defective passenger power window switch. It is stuck in the down position. Raise the window and immediately disconnect the switch until you can replace it.Defective passenger power window switch. First take the door panel off and inspect the wires, the window track, and motor. My tempo has a stuck window as well. My window track is really rusty, and I think could be the issue.

the window motor might be bad or there is not of power in your cords to power it
You need to determine the cause of the issue before you can make the repair. Did the window actuator fail or did it come out of the rail? Two very different reasons this could happen (but not the only possible ones), two very different repairs.
same way hold the switch down and slam the door shut.
You can grab this will both hands and gently tug while pushing the window up button. If this doesn't work, you can take it to a mechanic.
my power windows quit working, both driver and passanger door switches dont work. i tested all fuses and they work. i think its a power window relay. please help! my windows are stuck down ;-(
The power down module is located on the inside of the door panel itself under the armrest. If there is a problem with this module (ie unplugged, stuck etc) the driver's side window will not operate.
well, it might be stuck, or you arent pulling it hard enough, or maybe it goes in and out! __________________________________________________________________________ Peoples ignorant answers should speak for them. Power window I assume. The switch can be bad or the motor in the door. If only 1 window is stuck you are getting power. If all are not working check the fuse. It is is manual, it may have come out of the track or the regulator stripped.
