To repair the passenger exterior door handle on a 1999 Ford Econoline, first, remove the inner door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and carefully prying it off to access the handle mechanism. Next, disconnect the linkage and remove any mounting screws securing the handle to the door. Replace the broken handle with a new one, reattach the linkage, and secure it with screws before replacing the door panel and ensuring everything functions correctly. Finally, test the handle to confirm proper operation.

To repair a suitcase with a broken handle, you can try using a strong adhesive or epoxy to reattach the handle to the suitcase. If the handle is beyond repair, you may need to replace it with a new handle that is compatible with your suitcase.
Try www.autozone.com They have an expanded view of the door and it's components listed under repair section.
remove the door panel. The door handle is fastened with two 10mm nuts. just unscrew those and if has a lock, remove the linkage clip from the lock to be able to remove the door handle. Installation is in reverse order. I just replaced mine today.
Take off the interior door panel, and all will become clear. There will be a rod running down to the door mechanism, and there should be two nuts, on studs. Remove the nuts, and the studs will pull out with the old handle.
