actually it's pretty simple just did it myself. turn on headlight. so they will be in upright position. Unscrew the screws on each side of lamp, disconnect plug on back of fixture, replace bulb making sure it's right side up. connect plug, and screw back in. I'm assuming your talking about bulb and not assembly to raise and lower it. that's a completely different story, but I have that answer also.
