I just got done doing this, I am an Aircraft Mechanic but it is not too hard just take your time . small hands are a bonus !
My directions are for the driver side.
1. Take off the round rubber water cover behind the light.
2. Reach inside the hole and there is a plastic ring (like a jelly jar ring) that is holding in the light. You have to work your fingers in there and turn it about a quarter inch counter clockwise. Take a look at it when you get it out so that you remember which way to put it back in. There are 3 small rectangular tabs that are on an angle. they should point (from the centre of the retainer ) towards the driver. this is important !!!
3. After you get the ring off, reach in again and pull out the bulb. the bulbs are held in with a silicon o'ring, you will need to gently work it around and pull it out..it will come just wiggle it rearwards .
4. There are little tabs on top of the wiring- gently ( i mean gently) lift up on the tabs, to go over the top of the rigid locking tab (the tabs are split in half so you will have to do one at a time) and firmly pull on the connector rearwards .
5. Place the new bulb in the hole so that it sits there (it might help to look at the headlight from the front so you can see the bulb go in). Align the key-ways (little slots on top of the replacement bulb) , with the opposite inside the bulb housing.
6. Replace the plastic ring with the retaining tabs (remember step 2 ? ) facing the steering wheel and turn clockwise so that it feels secure.it will "snap" when it is locked.
7. Replace the wiring connector , careful yet again as the clips are fragile.
8. Work the round cover back on. I had to use one hand to hold it in back and push down in the middle, while the other hand I jammed in my fingers from above so that I could get the entire cap back on.
