I just changed my "lamp" which is the whole enclosure. Last year i replaced the socket which holds the bulb and has 3 wires. All you need to do is get under the front and using a 10mm socket take off the bolts holding the plastic cover which folds down then you can get access to the socket/lamp assembly. I spliced my socket in with crimp connectors. The socket twists out with a press on a tab and will come out of the lamp "enclosure". if you want to replace the whole assembly "lamp" its held in by two bolts inthe back 7mm socket. Good luck.
