I just changed my "lamp" which is the whole enclosure. Last year i replaced the socket which holds the bulb and has 3 wires. All you need to do is get under the front and using a 10mm socket take off the bolts holding the plastic cover which folds down then you can get access to the socket/lamp assembly. I spliced my socket in with crimp connectors. The socket twists out with a press on a tab and will come out of the lamp "enclosure". if you want to replace the whole assembly "lamp" its held in by two bolts inthe back 7mm socket. Good luck. Just get the car up on ramps and its cake! Put some anti corrosion matierial in the new socket. I just changed my "lamp" which is the whole enclosure.
