The mass air flow sensor on a Mark VIII is located just after the air filter in the air filter enclosure. BE VERY CAREFUL when handling this item. If you take the air filter box out to expose the maf sensor, do not touch the sensor with anything, there are two very tiny short wires that are exposed. If you want to clean the maf sensor, there is a specific cleaner to be used on this part. DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER OR THROTTLE BODY CLEANER, you WILL cause expensive damage to the sensor.
Remove the passenger side wheel well liner and it's to your left, remove lines and replace.

Could be anywhere along the radiator hose to the journal where the thermostat is located, the mounting plate that the oil filter is screwed on to.
