This is quite simple. I did this by first removing the fuse that controls this switch (#11, I think) under the dashboard. Then I grabbed the brake light switch (aka 'stoplight switch') and turned it about 30 degrees counter-clockwise and pulled it out. Disconnect the electrical connector by pulling it out while pushing in the little plastic tabs that hold it in place. Take the new one (I got mine at an auto junkyard for real cheap), snap the electrical connector in, push the switch firmly back into the housing and turn it 30 degrees clockwise and it should lock into place. Put the fuse back in the fuse panel, and voila! You're done.
