inside the car, take the trim ( carbon fiber or wood look ) by gently pulling it out lil by lil. then, when u get to the flashers u easly unclip them and unclip the wires. this fix will fix any problems going down the road and no turn signals for everyone wounderin y it ain't workin. this piece is a $3 part from junkyards. i perfer u get one out of a 99 Malibu. they never had the problem !!!

Flasher functions are part of the lighting module, there is no separate flasher.
Flasher is incorporated with Hazard module. Remove front of dash to replace
the flasher and hazards are all in one . if flashers are bad check hazard switch on dash. remove trim plate and remove screw that holds flasher switch in.
The flasher is part of the hazard switch and they are replaced as a unit. Remove the trim piece from the dash. This is attached with screws in some places and press fit in others. Once the trim is loose it is a simple matter to replace the switch.
The flasher is actually the hazard switch itself. If removed turn signals will not function. Just pop the old switch out and unplug it to replace if broken (if present and signal don't work).
