drive a screwdriver through the old ones and pop them out and to reinstall the new ones I put permetex around the edges and set them in place and get a socket about the size that will fit inside the freeze plug and drive them in with a hammer hitting on the socket.
The ID # is on the passenger side of the block just below the freeze plugs.
Unplug harness from back, depress pin on unit to release pull lever, unscrew nut and it comes off.
