like every other fuel pump the gas tank has to be lowerd and you haft to have the tools and the patiencs. If you are not farmiliar with doing this you should have a mechanic do it. just so you know and are not confused the actuall pump goes into the top of the gas tank. If you wanna do it your self get a haynes manual that will tell you all you need to know to do it your self
