Unplug every electrical and vacuum connection to the dash. Pull up on the defroster vent on the top of the dash and remove 4 screws. Remove 3 bolts on the left side of the dash and 1 nut on the right side of the dash. With help from a buddy, lift out the dash and set it on the front seats. Remove the vacuum actuator unit located over the center of the hump and remove the actuator link with spring. Remove 3 screws and remove the cover plate.
