The speed sensor is located on the top of the trans-axle just behind the shift linkage. it screws into the trans-axle. it usually takes a wrench, about a 3/4 to a 7/8, normally.
I don't believe there is one. I believe its run electronically. The odometer cable does exist, but it is connected to the transmission, not the engine.
If the speedo stops also, it is the speed sensor. If just the odometer, take it to a speedo shop.
