To replace the oil pump on a 1991 Capri, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Drain the engine oil, remove the oil pan, and then detach the oil pump from the engine block by unbolting it. Install the new oil pump by aligning it with the oil pump drive and securing it with bolts. Finally, reassemble the oil pan, refill the engine with oil, and reconnect the battery.
Where is the location of the fuel pump relay?
Fuel pump is bad!
Please see the same question on the 91 Capri. The procedure is the same.
bad bearings, lack of oil
I have full schematics for my 91 Ford Capri SA II
the fuel pump relay is located under the dash right behind the console, you need to remove the engine control module.the relay is located behind it.
The oil pump is located on the bottom of the engine. Drain the oil from the oil pan. Remove the oil pan. Remove the oil pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new oil pump.
possible plugged fuel filter under hood, or bad fuel pump (access hatch under back seat)
Replace the part that is leaking
The most probable cause is that the voltage regulator has failed. The regulator is an integral part of the alternator so you will probably have to replace it.
Modern Capri Parts. They sell replacement seat recovering kits!
Almost directly above the oil filter on the back of the engine, you will see a small electric wire leading to it.
