A good oiling of the door latching device with a thin oil works in most cases. Replace the door ajar switch that plugs into the door latch from inside the door. These switches are notorious for going bad...causing the dome lights to come on randomly, even when parked with key out of ignition, causing dead batteries, etc. Moderate difficulty to change switch. Part costs about $20. Not a job for rookies.
Inside the latch mechanism. WD-40 it good and open and close the door like 10 times and it should be good to go again. They rarely go out, just stick.
do not look for door jam switch;because when you find it just replace it. the switch is located inside the door and mounted on the door latch. this switch gets very dirty you can try to clean it.if it was me CHANGE IT Ther is a little plastic push button on the bottom inside of the of the front door post.some times this will corrode or a wire will break. This is leaving the connection open and the light won,'t go out when you close the door.
It's apart of the accelerator pedal. If you suspect it's bad replace the pedal assembly as a whole.
The crankshaft sensor is located behind the air conditioning compressor, which is on the front of the engine. You can replace it using a socket. Tight area. Have replaced one on a 2005 F-350 6.0 powerstroke. Good luck.

The transmission sensor is inside of the transmission under the pan. The pan has to be removed to get to the sensor.
