Plastics used in the light lenses is affected by UV light. Over time, the lenses go cloudy. The only real option is to get a replacment lense. There are several aftermarket sources of auto body parts.

You don't have to replace them or even take off the plastic lens go to headlightsolution.net you can clean them from the outside they will look great, we had a 1999 caravan with the same problem but not any more. Good luck. Many of the plastic covers on headlights and taillights become damaged by UV light from the Sun. The clouding on the lenses is usually damage. About the only REAl way to solve the problem is to replace the lense. You do NOT have to replace the lens. I use a product called CrystaLenz, it really works and is easy to use.
