number 1 o2 on a 6 cyl is located on the manifold 2 is after the cat. a v8 has 4. 2 before the cats and 2 after. to replace the sensor unplug it, then unscrew it. reverse the procedure for installation
With my 05' trailblazer I determined that it was 2 things,my oxygen sensor and cat converter,my step father says that it is the cat converter and he is ASE cert. mechanic,but i replaced the cat,the smell went away,i replaced the sensor and the car works fine!

It may be the fuel sensor going bad. I had an '05 with only 40k miles, and the fuel gauge wouldn't come off of E. They had to replace the fuel sensor and it went back to working normally. Not a particularly cheap repair since the gas tank must be removed to get to the sensor.
It takes a hour and a half or so to replace it.

There is an input and output sensor for the Sedona. They are both located on the top of the transmission. Some people have one on top and one on the side nearest the firewall.
