To change spark plugs on a 5.9 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, locate the old spark plugs. These are located at the end of the 8 wires inside the vehicle's bonnet. Remove the old spark plugs and replace with new.

If you haven't already,Try replacing the plug wires and spark plugs and regap the plugs to factory spec.
Spark plugs, air filter, wires ( if equipped ).Spark plugs, air filter, wires ( if equipped ).
Just replace them all.
Replace the spark plugs and plug wires.
I had the same problem,it endedup being the spark plug wires
The distributor with distributor cap is at the back of the engine ( just follow the spark plug wires )
To replace the spark plugs on a Chevy Avalanche 1500, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the ignition coil or spark plug wires, then use a spark plug socket and ratchet to carefully unscrew the old spark plugs. Install the new spark plugs by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten them to the manufacturer's specified torque. Finally, reattach the ignition coils or spark plug wires and reconnect the battery.
Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plug( best to do 1 at a time, so not to mix the wires). Using a 5/8 socket you can remove/install the spark plugs. Gap should be .035" and torque is 24ft-lbs.

Finally, reattach the ignition coils or wires and reconnect the battery.
