1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and put it on jack stands.

2. Remove the nuts and bolts that secure the bottom of the strut to the steering knuckle.

3. Remove the nuts at the top of the strut tower and lower the strut assembly out through the bottom.

4. The spring will have to come off as it is not part of the replacement part.

5. To do this you'll have to get a spring compressor.

6. Before you take the spring apart spray the side of the strut assembly with some white paint. Spray a straight line up and down. This will enable you to replace the spring and mounting hardware the way it came off. The spring has to be in the strut to align with the lower housing bracket.
