To replace the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid any electrical issues. Locate the TCCM, which is typically found under the vehicle near the transfer case, and remove any necessary covers or shields. Unplug the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolts to take out the old module. Install the new TCCM by reversing the removal steps, ensuring all connections are secure before reconnecting the battery.
replace the tranfer case tccm...
The atc fuse is a power supplt for the tccm( transfercase control module) and other ttcm functions
It is located in the dash behind the light switch. To remove it: Open the drivers door, look at the SIDE of the dash. See the panel? pry it off with a flat blade knife. look inside, down to the left, you will see 3 plugs with a bunch of wires, they are attached to the TCCM.
The TCCM is not communicating, DTC U0102, check wires, plugs, or replace TCCM.
The TCCM is on the driver side behind the dash...right behind the the light swith. The easiest access that i have found is to take the dash off that covers the light switch and extends over to the radio area. Also the lower coverings will need to be removed as well. Once those are off, the TCCM can be accessed. It has three connectors (two large blue and one small black). disconnect the connectors and remove the unit. Note: once you have disconnected the connectors you will notice one of the large connectors is grey(middle connector), make sure it goes back into the proper place when reinstalling. If you are replacing the TCCM with a new one, you will have to get it reprogramed. This whole process shouldn't take more than 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. start to finish
The ECM and TCCM are located behind the lower dashboard on the passenger side.
TCCM Transfer case control module
The "service 4 wheel drive" light is on because the TCCM (Transfer Case Control Module) has detected a problem with the system. The light will remain on until the problem is fixed. Your local auto parts store can read the code(s) in the TCCM. The code(s) will help determine what the problem is.
The TCCM (Transfer Case Control Module) fuse on a 1999 Bravada is located in the engine compartment fuse box. The TCCM is located in the dash on the driver's side to the left of the steering wheel.
under the drivers seat under the carpet, when u get it out notice that it is not even sealed with rubber gasket or silicone, this being the reason that it is malfunctioning
on your 2000 Blazer the control module is located under the kick panel on the passenger side. Simply remove the plastic panel, unbolt the module with a 10 MM socket and disconnect the wiring hareness. While your there, check the wiring hareness for corrosion as this is a big problem. apply Dielectric grease to the hareness and install new control module.
im in the same boat as you but i have an idea where the tccm is. it is located underneath your dash near the steering column
