Remove 2 bolts onthe flange near the catalytic converter and or muffler. Cut the exhaust pipe if it is welded or Unclamp if it is not. Youmight also needto get an adapter for the new parts vs old parts.
You will have to replace it.
Right after the catalytic converter or " downstream " of the converter.
That converter costs about $100
The catalytic converter is in the exhaust next to the side of the trans, the torque converter, if automatic, is inside the bell housing.
Two, one on each side of the catalytic converter.
Upstream is just after the exhaust manifold, and downstream is after the catalytic converter
Yes, if it just started in time you will lose power and speed, replace it, it is breaking up inside.
Two, one on each side of the catalytic converter
The oxygen sensors are screwed into the exhaust pipe on either side of the catalytic converter.
Yes it was, look above the transmission sjid pan and its right before the muffler.
loss of power under a oad is a good indication of a clogged catalytic converter
Losing power is a lot of times due to a clogged catalytic converter, have that checked out.
