first you open the hood and in back of the headlight assembly you will find two large clips they look like long shoe horns you need to pull up on those clips and the whole assembly pulls out giving you access to the headlight bulb you then depress the tab on the back of the bulb and turn it until you can remove it ,be careful not to touch the new bulb with your fingers or get it dirty it may cause the bulb to blow out,just reinstall the new bulb the same way you removed the old one.

On a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero with a 4-cylinder engine, the alternator is located on the front side of the engine, near the top, slightly towards the driver's side. It is mounted on the engine block and can be accessed from the top of the engine compartment. You may need to remove the serpentine belt to replace or service the alternator.

To replace the headlamp on a 1999 Volvo V70, first, open the hood and locate the back of the headlamp assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the rubber cover. Unscrew the retaining ring or clip that holds the bulb in place, then carefully pull out the old bulb. Insert the new bulb without touching the glass, secure it with the retaining ring, reconnect the electrical connector, and replace the rubber cover. Finally, test the headlamp to ensure it’s functioning correctly.
Take out the 6mm bolt and pull outwards on the headlamp assembly.
