there is a screw between the turn signal and the side light. You really have to look between the lights to see it because it is back in there pretty far. I had to pry with my screwdriver to get in there to begin with. Then there is a screw on the top of the side lamp inside, under the hood. Then on the outside of the turn signal fixture there is a screw on the outside ...

you have to really reef on the entire assembly to get it off. it took me 3 hrs to do but after i really pulled on it it came out .....there are "latches" that hold the assembly in so normal jostiling dosent dilodge the light but to get it out you really have to pull on it ....gently so you dont break it ....haynes manual shows the location of screws but not how to get it out.. good luck

You should only have to reach in behind the head light and twist it should come out fairly easily unless it is very dirty you might have to move your battery to the side but outside of that it should not be that hard
