I'm not sure about the 2001, but on a '97, under the hood there are 2 inverted "L" shaped slide clips near the front corners. These pull straight up and allow you to pull out the headlight/turn signal unit. Twist the turn signal housing 1/4 turn CCW to expose the bulb and replace. Or, take it to the dealer and let them do it.

One or two front turn signal bulbs is busted. Check your front turn signal bulbs and replace it.
It looks as if I'll have to crawl under the front of the car to access the bulb to replace it.

Open the hood. Near the front of the turn signal assembly there is a Phillips head screw. Loosen but do not remove the screw; it releases the front of the assembly. You then need to pull forward to release the pin holding the rear of the assembly. Reverse the above to replace the assembly.
