How do you replace the frostplug on a 1994 Chevy 1500 and where is it located thanks?

There is 8 of them.
2 are in the back of the engine block where the fly-wheel is. You will need to pull the engine are just the transmission to get to those.
There is 2 on each side of the engine just below the heads and in the side of the engine block. 1 on each side are hidden behind the motor mounts, will need to remove the mounts to get to them, and there is one behind the starter, the last one on the side of the engine block ( driver's side ) towards the back you can see.
And there is 2 on the front of the engine just below the front of the heads 1 on each side. You will need to remove every thing on the front of the engine to get to those.
Now that makes 8.
Now the way you get them out is, drain engine coolant first, then get you a hammer and a long punch and drive one side in and that will make the plug turn sideways in the block. Now just pull it out with something. To put it back in, Get a socket that will fit inside of the new plug and drive it back in the engine block. Be sure to clean and sand the block real good before you put the new one in. ( CLEAN THE HOLE )
