Check the left front fender apron it's stuck between the engine and inner fender apron and it's tough to undo the bottom hose . Hey Robin==It is in the fuel line. Get under it and trace the line from the tank to the engine and you will find it. Sometimes special tools are required to release the connectors on the filter. You can get them very cheap from the local parts store. GoodluckJoe

It is in the housing at the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sure the spring on the thermostat is toward the engine.
The filter is very close to the firewall and it's very difficult to replace. I still take my car to the dealer for this procedure.
i believe that the fuel filter is in front of the gas tank .which is kinda hard to get at
Ok, replace it. Located on the frame rail of the car.
Thermostat locationI own a '91 Probe GL, which is 4 cylinders, and the thermostat is located in the housing which is at the engine end of the radiator hose coming from the top side of the radiator. Just look for that main hose, and follow it to the cylinder head. The thermostat should be in that housing. -ShaunThe thermostat is located on the right side of the engine looking in, in between the intake manifold and the air filter box, underneath the wiring.
