You can either remove the bed/raise the bed up. And remove it from the top of the tank. Are you can just drop the fuel tank and then take it out of the tank that way.
Replace the fuel filter every 15000 miles or every one year. Whichever comes first.
it is recommended that the fuel filter be changed every 15000 miles or 12 months, but if you always drive on empty, you might want to change it more often.
i think it is like $5000 to $15000
15000 = 15000/1
"A Chevrolet Silverado 3500 can cost anywhere between $15000 to $30000, depending on the model and year. Try Craigslist first. You might find it there."

1% of 15000 = 1% * 15000 = 0.01 * 15000 = 150
In my opinion as a mechanic, I would say checking the air filter every 15K would be a good habit to get into. In my Owners manual (09 SRX) under 15,000 mile service it states to inspect the fuel system for damage and leaks, Inspect exhaust system for loose and damaged components and replace passenger cabin air filter.
15% of 15,000= 15% * 15000= 0.15 * 15000= 2,250
