On the back of the regulator housing, you look with the mirror and you will see the two small holes to the snap ring. reach the pliers around the outside of the coil pack with your right hand and hold the mirror back behind the regulator by stretching your left across the intake plenum. Once you get the snap ring out wiggle the regulator and it should come straight back out. Installation is reverse.
