There is no such thing as a 2002 Jeep Cherokee. The last year was 2001.
There is a Torx (Star) bolt on top of the headlight pretty much in the middle of the light. There's only one for each headlight. Remove that bolt, then pull the lights forward. It takes some effort, but they're only held in with clips and they'll pop out. It might help to start by prying at the bottom of the light. Hope this helps.
take it to an auto glass shop, it is not that expensive
There is no such thing as a 2002 Cherokee Laredo. The last year for the Cherokee was 2001, and the last year it came with the Laredo trim was 1992. I have a 2003 Cherokee Laredo so this awnser makes no sense at all. Do you have a GRAND Cherokee Laredo? Those are still being made. They are not the same as the Cherokee.
There are various sizes and ratings used. Replace with what you take out.
You don't adjust it. You buy a new one and replace it.
I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo...It does NOT have a latch system.
I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee. I've had to have both rear replaced and each was around 300 - 400 for parts/labor.
