You have to take the entire headlight off. There should be bolts around the top(should be two of them). Once you unscrew the bolts it will still have wires running into the back of the headlight-but you don't have to unplug any wires, just be careful not to drop the headlight housing. There should be round caps on the back, one should be for the turn light, and another for the headlight. Take the cap off the one behind the headlight. There should be a plug with wires running in it-pull it out and the headlight should be attached to it. Just pull out the old bulb and pop in the new one-careful not to touch the glass part of the bulb. Then all you do is reassemble everything. I promise it sounds hard...but it's really not. I'm not very automotively inclined--I mean come on I'm a woman! My hubby does all the car stuff normally. I decided to prove to myself I can get under there and do something-even if it was just changing a bulb! Sorry if my instructions aren't very descriptive --but remember I'm a woman...I don't know the name of things under the hood! Hope this helps. I did it by myself and it was pretty simple...just don't be afraid to take things apart! I promise they all go back together! =)
It is in the gas tank and to replace it you will have to remove the tank.
