== == You can't. The cover is glued as a unit to the light housing assembly. The whole assemply must be removed. Another answer: if your issue is cloudiness in the lense you can purchase lens renewal kits that are very effective. I did this on my 95 and it looks almost like new. The plastic just oxidizes and gets cloudy and the renewal involves using several graduations of very fine sandpaper and rubbing compound but its almost foolproof to use. If the lense is broken then the first part is correct: the whole assembly must be replaced. Good luck. momule
Another way to deal with the cloudy lenses is simply replace your bulb itself with one of the brighter "blue" elements... I used sylvania bulbs myself... Suprisingly this caused the film that had built up on the INTERIOR of the housings on my 95 GCLTD to literally bake and peel off the lens helping the issue as well. Quite often moisture does build up in these housings in northern climates due to bad weather and over time deposits crud on the inside,,, Go figure...
There aren't headlight covers, it all one unit. One of my lens was cracked and I had to replace the whole unit.
I'm guessing that you have clouded over or broken headlights and need to repair or replace them. If memory serves, the covers themselves are not removable. There are kits available to resurface the plastic on the headlights, but they're expensive and there are varying reports as to how well they actually work.
They are the headlight washer covers. If you have headlight washers, these covers lift when you activate the windshield washer.

Reconnect the power connector and replace any covers or clips before closing the hood.
